Pharmacological properties
The drug has contact insecticidal and repellent action.
Cyfluthrin belongs to the group of synthetic pyrethroids of the second type, which disrupt the functioning of sodium channels of nerve cells of ectoparasites, leading to the delay of membrane repolarization, inhibition of nerve impulses, disruption of movement coordination, paralysis, and death of insects.
After application, a small amount of the drug is absorbed, providing its long-lasting insecticidal, acaricidal, and repellent action.
