Composition
1 ml of the preparation contains active substances:
amitraz – 2 mg;
clotrimazole – 10 mg.
Excipients: dimethyl sulfoxide, PEG-400.
Pharmacological properties
Amitraz – an acaricide from the amidine group, active against sarcoptiform mites (Otodectes spp, Psoroptes, Notoedres cati), as well as Demodex spp. Amitraz acts contactly, disrupting octopamine receptors in the mite's nervous system, causing paralysis and death of parasites, negatively affecting the reproductive organs of female mites, reducing egg production and their viability.
